UnitedMind launched a training programme which gives you the background of laughter therapy, including a brief introduction to Laughter Yoga, however, this is NOT Laughter Yoga Training.
The Laughter Therapist Training takes you on a journey through different ways of presentation, various ways of using laughter in life and in workshops, the meaning of laughter that we add, and it teaches you to structure a professional presentation as well as laughter therapy scenarios with groups and one-on-one.
The course is a philosophical as well as practical course where we will get in touch with the inner-most laughter, and discover what REALLY tickles the giggles.
At the end of the training you will receive a certificate that enables you to obtain insurance to practice and facilitate laughter workshops, it is not a Laughter Yoga Certificate but this training may be a great addition to your existing certification.

This training is for anyone who wants to run workshops using laughter as a method of connecting people and connecting with people, it is for Laughter Yoga Leaders, Laughter Yoga Teachers, Laughter Facilitators, Laughter Therapist, anyone who presents, gives lectures, talks and other public or private speakers as well as people who just want more joy and laughter.
It is also ideal for anyone working in the health sector as well as education sector..
On the 2-day Laughter Yoga Leader Training you learn to run a Laughter Yoga session and finish your training with a presentation, whereas on the Laughter Therapist Training you learn to run workshops using therapeutic laughter, creative storytelling, improvisation and drama, as well as Laughter Yoga techniques.
As part of the Laughter Therapist Training you are required to complete a minimum of two case studies with individuals and groups run over 6-8 weeks each and submit your dissertation for your pass. The process can take 6-12 months to complete.
This training is a unique, innovative and new way of learning laughter and joyfulness with a view to present and teach.
